About The Chapter

A dream was born in 1970

    • Like every new born it required the utmost care and attention from those who had borne the pains to have the joy of seeing the Chapter grow. From those early faltering steps, those tottering steps through the early pangs of hardship and uncertainty, the new born attained adulthood. The only thing that has kept it moving on the path of growth and maturity is the undying faith of the dreamers in the dream itself. With severely limited resources, Team Rourkela Chapter had dared to take all the challenges facing them at each step and learning from those challenges as they overcame those hurdles.

    • Rourkela Chapter of Cost Accountants was established in the year 1970, specifically 22nd March, 1970 and since then it has been relentlessly thriving for the development and updation of professional skills of its students and members. Since July 1976 Session, the Chapter is conducting Oral Coaching Classes for the students of ICAI and till last session of January 2020, a total of 1143 students have enrolled in the Chapter for Foundation, Intermediate & Final Course of ICAI. • It is the second oldest chapter in Eastern India, and is imparting coaching to the students opting for Cost and Management Accounting profession in and around Rourkela as well as covering the various areas of the districts of Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, and Sambalpur.
